Job Description

• Perform hardness testing, drift checks, size measurements, and material condition assessments during incoming inspections
• Conduct final inspection checks, including finished dimensions, stamping, and hardness evaluations
• Execute first-piece inspections during in-process machining operations
• Verify measurements on components during in-process machining operations
• Compile inspection data into Inspection Test Plans (ITP) or Final Inspection Reports (FIR)
• Generate incident reports for any defects identified during inspections
• Assist with the completion of routing sheets for traceability and retrieval purposes
• Verify and evaluate customer return defects
• Support the Quality Engineer with the verification of Incident Reports
• Responsible for setting and verifying gauges for production processes

• At least 1 year of experience in the metalworking industry
• Familiarity with measuring tools and hardness testing equipment
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
