Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Sichuan dishes, including:
- Hotpot, mapo tofu, BBQ skewer meats, chili flakes chicken, cold dishes, and pickled fish.
- Innovate and develop new recipes while maintaining authentic flavors.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure high standards of hygiene, safety, and food quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishments.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Sichuan culinary techniques.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and workplace health standards.
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus and special promotions.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sichuan Chef or in a similar role.
- Expertise in Sichuan cuisine, especially in the use of Sichuan peppercorns and chili oils.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Days/Hours:
- Monday - Saturday, 2 PM - 11 PM
- Off Day: Sunday and Public Holidays
