Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Patient Interaction: At our outpatient clinics and ambulatory surgery center
    • Register patients, verify identities, handle billing, and process payments
    • Manage phone and email inquiries
    • Conduct follow-up calls and send appointment reminders
    • Provide assistance with financial counselling for medical procedures
    • Oversee billing and payments, assist with daily and monthly bookkeeping, and generate invoices and receipts
  • Assistance with Medical Procedures
    • Support in minor clinic and surgery procedures
  • Administrative Duties
    • Assist the nurse manager with inventory management of drugs and consumables
    • Help submit insurance or third-party pre-approval applications and handle post-hospitalization/post-surgery claims
    • Provide administrative support with updating the clinic’s patient database
  • General Clinic Operations
    • Assist with various tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations
Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Basic proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with productivity software such as email, MS Office, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Customer-focused, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a small team
  • Previous working experience in hospitality/customer service/healthcare industry is a plus
  • Work Schedule: 5.5 days per week (Monday to Friday, with alternating Saturday mornings)

This position is offered as a one-year contract, with the possibility of renewal unless either party provides notice before the contract expires.
