Role Overview:

"This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end shipping process, ensuring timely and cost-effective freight arrangements. The position involves close collaboration with supply chain teams, freight forwarders, and customers to maintain seamless shipping operations."

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the freight forwarding and shipment arrangements
• Negotiate freight charges and establish shipping schedules.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams and forwarders for timely shipments.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents in compliance with L/C requirements.
• Provide customers with regular updates on shipment statuses and promptly address their inquiries
• Verify invoices from freight forwarders and ensure proper payment arrangements.
• Provide freight cost information to the sales department.
• Maintain organized shipping records and correspondence.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience in handling Dangerous Goods) is an advantage
• Relevant experience in handling Letter of Credit (L/C) is an added advantage
• Strong understanding of import/export regulations and customs procedures

Job Details:

• Working Hours: Mon - Fri (8.15 am -5.30 pm)
• Location: Gul Circle
